Michelle
offers private, group lessons
and master classes from Dunkirk
studios. She has over 17 years
of teaching experience and
is a certified, licensed music
teacher. Her experience also
includes orchestral and ensemble
work, conducting, writing
music, performance and professional
recording with two released
cds of original music. Instruction
is offered on violin, viola,
piano, guitar, percussion
and voice.
Students
will learn correct hand positions
to facilitate easy learning,
ear training, tuning the instrument,
bowing techniques, rhythmic
accuracy, reading music, finger
patterns, scales, beautiful
tone production, vibrato,
correct mindset for performing,
increased self-confidence
by removing blocks and opening
door for inspired learning
resulting in students becoming
more motivated to practice.
All styles of music are taught
ranging from classical to
freelance improvisation.
Young
beginners work well starting
with 1/2 hour lessons, one
hour for more advanced students
and one hour sessions recommended
for adults. Scholarships are
available per audition.
